Lynn and Mel invite you to attend their joint exhibition hosted by Invercargill's Art Attic - a boutique community gallery space upstairs on Tay Street (above Ivan Bulling Furniture).
Opening night is from 5.30pm on Friday 28 July. We'd love you to join us for a mulled wine/warm spiced apple, some nibbles, and a first look at the art we've been working very hard to create exclusively for this exhibition.
This promises to be a mesmerising show full of magical blurred lights and intricate sepia-toned pieces.
Lynn draws and paints detailed, nature-inspired art on tea bags. Her work will be a celebration of birds, bees, blooms, the bush and the beach. Mel works with oil paints, typically on canvas, capturing the blurred lights of city streets, filtering through trees, gardens and on water.
We invite you to get up close to the details of our work, then sit back and allow the enchantment of the moment captured in each piece to infuse you with a restorative sense of stillness. Just Be.
