Riverton Reflections

Original bokeh oil painting

A soft, shimmering glimpse of Riverton’s tidal harbour just before sunset: when the last light catches windows across the water, turning them into tiny pools of golden bokeh. Their reflections stretch across the water and exposed tidal flats, while a line of moored boats rests quietly on the far shore.

With peachy skies, soft blues and muted greens, this small original work on paper captures the gentle, pastel-toned beauty of Riverton, the “Riviera of the South.”

The Glimmers Collection

Glimmers are considered tiny moments of joy in your day. This collection of small oil paintings are intimate little paintings about light, atmosphere and the beauty hiding in the blur.

Bokeh does 2 things:

1. It magnifies - the soft focus allows light & beauty to grow, and
2. It simplifies - the art takes the focus off 'sharp edges' and 'nitty gritty details'.
